I am blasted by Wix ad’s every time I load youtube. Its like there budget is unlimited… Very annoying. Not being a fan of web based website builders, (I believe its important for people to build and own their code), I decided to put Wix through the page speed tests to put my mind at ease about the quality of their code. My results didn’t surprise me.
Their Mobile version of the site barely held up, with 4.4 seconds of loading taken up by loading images not even present on the initial screen.
