Our Story

We wanted a hosting partner that felt like a partner — the same people answering the phone as the people who designed the network. Direct, consistent support; clear communication; and ownership of outcomes, not deflection. That vision became the foundation of Swift Grid.

We built Swift Grid to deliver web infrastructure with quality, security, and speed, paired with a real face at the other end of the line. You get real engineers, real conversations, and real responsibility for the stack you rely on.

Today, Swift Grid is a managed web hosting company focused on quality Canadian infrastructure, responsive support, and long-term client relationships. We are proud of the word managed — it means we do the work, end to end.

Matt Potter

Matt has been hands-on with server and cloud systems since 2010 and leads Swift Grid's technical direction day to day. He is a creative, persistent problem-solver: the tricky migrations, performance bottlenecks, and "one more thing" client constraints often land on his desk, and he keeps working until there is a real fix—not a handoff. He stays curious about better stacks, cleaner automation, and safer ways to run production workloads, and he cares about the small details that keep client sites fast, stable, and secure.

Troy Chartier

Troy is the operational backbone of Swift Grid — keeping client work, support cadence, and follow-through on track. He holds a NAIT Technology Management degree and has spent more than a decade in IT across oil and gas, real estate, nonprofit, and finance, so he knows how to translate business pressure into clear technical priorities. Organized, approachable, and quick to help, he is often the first voice clients hear when they need clarity, a plan, or a calm path through a busy week. Whether it is documentation, scheduling, or client care, you will find him a chat or a call away.
